Aurora is the leader in the manufacture and supply of automated registration systems using face recognition technology designed for the education sector.
Our flagship product faceREGISTER allows self-registration by students, feeding attendance information directly into schools’ MIS systems such as Capita SIMS and Serco CMIS. This frees up valuable staff time and allows students to focus on learning activities. Our administration software faceMANAGER provides system configuration and control, as well as the ability to create valuable reports.
We have substantial experience and understanding of UK education. Besides being a highly active business in this market, we have team members who are governors, former teachers and a significant number of staff who have worked in the past for some of the largest and most successful organisations supplying UK education. We are members of BESA and regular exhibitors at BETT.
Aurora has over 10 years experience in the underlying biometric face recognition technology. All hardware and software is designed, manufactured and supported from our offices on the outskirts of Northampton.
Our systems are installed at over 1,000 sites both in the UK and abroad – some are installed in very environmentally challenging locations. This gives us great confidence regarding ongoing reliability and continued success of our systems operating in schools, colleges and universities.
